Ghana is faced with 12% youth unemployment and more than 50% underemployment, both higher than the overall unemployment rate in sub-Saharan African Countries.
It is for this reason, that iCann School of Technology and her sponsors have come up with an initiative to equip the youth of this country with entrepreneurial skills, aimed at reducing unemployment.
Apply as needy student
This type of scholarship is for people who wish to take part in a course to improve upon themselves but do not have the necessary financial support nor strength to fully pay for their education. By this scholarship, it is one of our aims to give education to people such as SHS-level graduates who do not have the necessary funding to obtain a tertiary-level education at the university. It also applies to all manner of persons who do not have the full financial strength to take a course with us.

Apply as Future Community Innovator
Persons who apply for this type of scholarship are people who are very creative and mentally skilled in societal problem solving. We take a personal interest in people who desire to help solve community problems and are able to express very good innovation in dealing with these problems. The problems do not have to be necessarily solved with IT. We look out for those whom our course can help in one way or the other to push them in their journey of solving problems of society.

If you have previously taken, at least, one course with us, you can apply for this type of scholarship. Excellent performance or great skill improvement in a course you have studied with us increases your chances of getting full funding for a new course you want to take. We take great interest in supporting our former students to improve and add additional I.T skills to themselves.
